               was a pioneer in commitments to reliability, availabi-
               lity and punctuality, the Euromed trains, electrifica-
               tion systems, regional trains, ERTMS levels 1 and 2, the
               first self-propelled high speed train linking Spain with
               France, wifi service, etc.

               With Adif, Alstom has participated in the maintenan-
               ce of the power installations on high speed lines, and
               systems of civil protection and safety in some of the

                                                                 1. We started in the late 1990s with the pilot project
                                                                 between Albacete and La Encina. We were pioneers
                                                                 of ERTMS L1, and then we took part in projects such
                                                                 as the Mediterranean corridor: the first conventio-
                                                                 nal line with speeds > 200 km/h and continuous su-
                                                                 pervision by ATP. Over 3,500 balises installed on 450
                                                                 km of track and 55 trains equipped. Also the upgra-
                                                                 de of this same corridor to ERTMS L1 with over 1,400
                                                                 balises installed. In the last ten years we have taken
                                                                 part in ERTMS L2 projects on the lines of Venta de
                                                             GONZALO RUBIO  Baños-Burgos and Plasencia-Cáceres-Badajoz. Plus
                                                                 onboard ERTMS L1 and L2 systems installed on the 91
                                                                 Series S130 and S730AVE trains, and their propulsion
